This is a component of a World War II Royal Air Force (RAF) G-Type oxygen mask, specifically the external wiring loom part. The visible label "10A/13466" identifies this piece as part of the RAF's standard aircrew equipment used during the war. The wiring loom was essential for connecting the mask's microphone to the aircraft's communication system, ensuring effective communication at high altitudes.
