Entrepreneurs and chemists Ashton and Parsons established a proprietary medicine company. They found their crowning achievement in a traditional, homeopathic recipe: Infants’ Teething Powders. The remedy promised to soothe fretful babies and calm swollen gums.

This specific clear-glass dispencing bottle dates roughly between 1890 and 1920. 

Notice the distinctive features  The brand name 'Ashton and Parsons' is boldly embossed straight around the neck. And if you flip it over, you will often find their signature molded crown logo stamped on the base.

During the late 19th century, Ashton and Parsons became a true household staple. Their reach expanded rapidly across Great Britain and deep into the territories of the British Empire.
